Moisés Pereira was born in Ribeira do Pombal - Bahia - Brazil. He started in arts at the age of 10, writing poetry and painting pictures using gouache, oil paint and pastel.
At 14 he recorded his first EP with his own songs and at 17, in 1999, won 1st place in FUBA - University Music Festival of Bahia.
Between 1999 and 2001 he painted a few paintings on commission, but began to dedicate himself exclusively to music with a forró music group, where he visited several cities in the interior of Bahia - between 2001 and 2010.
Between 2011 and 2014 he stayed away from music, dedicating himself exclusively to work as a bank clerk and to graduate studies in Public Management. He participated in some music festivals, winning 1st place in the Festival Vozes da Terra - Feira de Santana - Bahia - with the song "Festa do Ditado Popular".
In 2017 he created the musical group "Sons de Mercúrio" with Cartre Sans (where he composes and sings until today). Because of the pandemic and the closing of concert venues, he returned to dedicate himself to drawing and painting, focusing on digital art.
In 2020, he met the NFT's and the various platforms for commercialization of digital art. Since then he actively participates in the Brazilian community of digital artists.
Involved in this process, he recently completed a postgraduate MBA in Curatorship, Museology and Exhibition Management.
